Fibonacci Fans

Fibonacci Fan is another that takes both price and time into consideration. Comparing to horizontal it offers an additional feature — price movement projection far further in time.
The price projection is based on fan-like that represent already familiar to us : 0.382, 0.500 and 0.618.

To place Fibonacci Fan on the chart, choose Fibonacci Fan from menu on your and then look for the highest high and lowest low points (in other words two opposite peaks) at any given time to plot the on. Simply click on one peak and drug all the way to the other peak, the will build a fan for you.

However, it is recommended that Fibonacci Fan be traded along with other indicators or tools to avoid fake .

To draw Fibonacci Fan lines on a chart:
1. Display a chart of the ticker you want to analyze.
2. From the Draw sub-menu select Fibonacci , or click the Fibonacci toolbar button. The will change to the Fibonacci cursor.
3. Place the cursor at the point on the price chart where you would like the to begin and press the .
4. While continuing to hold down the mouse button, move the cursor to the point that you want the to end.
5. When you release the mouse button, a will be drawn between the two points and three Fibonacci Fan lines (shown as dashed lines) will be automatically drawn below the .
6. To cancel the Fibonacci cursor and return to the normal , press the Arrow on the toolbar (to the left of the Trendlines toolbar button).
